PORT LOUIS, MAURITIUS – 16 September 2025 – The Local Organising Committee of the International Choir Games (LOCICC 2025) announces the successful organization of a comprehensive medical emergency workshop. The initiative, led by the LOCICC 2025 Medical Commission, was designed to prepare all medical personnel for any potential urgencies during the upcoming Choir Games.
Under the expert supervision of Dr. Y. Naiken Gopalla, Head of the Medical Commission, and assisted by Deputy Head Dr. Selvina Uppiah, the workshop provided vital training to doctors, nurses, and first-aiders. The sessions focused on protocols for managing a wide range of medical scenarios, ensuring a swift and coordinated response to safeguard the health of participants, officials, and spectators.
This essential training would not have been possible without the significant support and partnership of Hyperpharm Ltd.
